Synopsis: Comedy thriller. Ham actor Foster Twelvetrees is invited to give a performance of literary extracts in the old mansion of the eccentric Henderson family, who worship the godess of death Kali and keep large snakes in the basement. Foster soon finds himself witnessing family squabbles about inheritance money and insinuations about whether certain family members have been killed off. As dead bodies start piling up, Foster tries to make his exit, only to learn the shocking real reason he was invited there.
